1. Where are your shoes made?

Most of the shoes that exist today are mass-produced in huge manufacturing plants that cater to the multitude of widely known shoe brands that exist around the world.

Our Atlantis shoes are made by us and by hand in our small atelier in the southeast region of Turkey. The magical town is called Gaziantep. Only 100 kilometers north of Aleppo and right next to the world-famous archaeological site Zeugma, Gaziantep has been bursting with culture and civilization since the Neolithic period. The traces of human settlement in the region goes back to the year 4000 BC.

The city is known for its two unique artisan craftsmanship; Yemeni shoes and copperware. Since we don't know much about copperware, we stick to making our Atlantis handmade Yemeni shoes. At least for the time being...

2. What is special about your shoes?

Each pair of Atlantis shoes are uniquely handcrafted by our artisan shoemakers following the 700-year-old tradition of Yemeni shoes. When you receive your Atlantis Handmade shoes, you can be sure that there isn't another single identical pair in the world.

Behind each pair of Atlantis Handmade shoes lies a meticulous process and method which begins with design and continues with the relentless search for the highest quality leather. In every step of our shoemaking process, there is knowledge that is passed from generation to generation. It takes patience, serious physical effort and expert artisanship which can only be acquired by years of practice. No mass-manufacturing, no stocks, no middleman. We receive your order and we make your shoes by hand just for you. That's it. Just like in the old times.

3. Why are your shoes cheaper than your main competitor's?

The answer is quite straightforward; Because we keep our marketing costs in check.

The shoes are the same, the leather is the same quality and the artisanship is identical. So what is the difference?

The only difference is; When you pay 200$ for an identical pair of shoes from our competitors, you really are paying 100$ for the shoes and another 100$ for their marketing.

Let's break down how that works;

NO RENT: We sell exclusively online so we save on property costs. Our competitors have physical shops in some of the most expensive cities in the world. Their costs add up.

LOCATION: We are actually based in Turkey while our competitors operate from overseas. We deal with local suppliers face to face on a daily basis which allows us to get better prices. Pretty difficult for our competitors to achieve that considering they are based on the other side of the world.

MARKETING: Now don't get us wrong, we love Google Ads as much as the next company, but our exponential growth has been mostly fueled by Word-of-mouth marketing. One happy customer brings another one and that is what we solely focus on; Customer Satisfaction.

NO STOCKS: Keeping stock is very costly. There are shipping costs, warehouse costs, insurance, and the list goes on. We don't do that. We make every pair of Atlantis handmade shoes upon order. Your shoes don't exist until you hit that order button and we start making them.

We are located in Turkey. We ship them directly from Turkey to your address with DHL Express.

We both have warehouses in USA and Europe for your Returns and Exchanges.

7. How much does shipping cost?

We offer Free Shipping to United States, Canada and Europe.

To Middle East Countries, we are charging $4 per shoes

To Australia, Japan, China and New Zealand, we are charging $9 per shoes

We are working exclusively with DHL Express

8. When will I get my package?

We ship your orders next day.
